I was supposed to run a block of D&D in the second slot, but it ended up being cancelled (lack of players) so I taught Darth Shoju how to play 3DA.He was a fast learner, and since I had a lot of good dragon cards, I had amassed a full 10-card hand. We play, and get 3 rounds in - and I tie up the game. Darth Shoju plays his card in the 4th round - and I tie up the game. And this happens again. And again. And Again. And again. In fact, we got all the way to the - but hold on a minute, it gets better.Because, in the eigth round of 3DA, Darth Shoju pulls out a Dragon Slayer. So he's now 8 points ahead of me. Well crap. Since my flight cards are either 8 or higher, or 3 and lower, he slays a 3. So I'm 11 points behind him - with no card of 11 Strength! So I have nothing to lose here - he's beating me by 11, and I don't have a card that's 11 or higher. However, I did have a Copper Dragon in my hand - I think it was a 1 Strength. So I play it, and flip the 11 Gold Dragon! So, safe for another round! And I continue to tie him up for 4 more rounds, up to the 12th round when he played a 6 of something and I only had a 4.All-in-all, great game with him, and loads of fun too!So, anyone else have a 'war story' for 3DA?cheers,--N</blockquote>
