Her blonde and wispy-light hair gently curls, framing her face in a short mop that’s clearly performed by tousling it with her fingers occasionally. Beyond her diminutive size though, the Aerael’s most engaging features are her enormous emerald and gold eyes. Even though by all rights, with the amount of outdoor exposure she gets, she should be positively brown at all times Aerael’s skin remains pure milk white except in fall when it suddenly turns a nutty brown. That alone would single Aerael out, but even her eyes turn into a pale frost-touched blue on days when she’s out in heavy snow.    Aerael’s dress tends to mostly confine itself to simple green tunics and the rare white cotton peasant dress she borrows from others. Her familiar Rumil tends to cling to her shoulder in a manner that is clearly non-hedgehog-like and she’s rarely without her large worn leather purse that she carries her spellbook and tools in or the same tired bow she’s had for ages.Background    Rylanth breathed life into the wilderness and his People were born from the wilderness, with some People Becoming from the trees and flowers of the forest and some from creatures of that forest. Aerael’s Becoming came from no living thing though, but from a snowflake reflecting the wan winter sun overhead. Even as she shook off the blanket of snow that was her womb and mother, she saw that the essence of all things is interconnected and intertwined together. Her first words were questions; delving into the nature of the world around her while others reacted in wonder. When Rylanth whispered the secrets of magic to his People, Aerael listened closely. Knowledge is not only the answer, but the riddle itself.Personality    Still a girl, in both fact and demeanor, Aerael’s life is defined by two almost irreconcilable personality traits – her transience and her focus. She can appear almost flighty and irresponsibly disregarding of some of the most basic tenets of the People, but inwardly she is deeply concerned with the nature of all things – herself included.</blockquote>
