Message: <blockquote data-quote="Cerubus Dark" data-source="post: 1164075" data-attributes="member: 3386">I always thought the point of these boards was to discuss new monster ideas trade pc plot hooks and other such fun things.  Not whine and cry about needing new weapon charts, corrected size templates for this or that.  This whole thread was started because like all other things he did not put the effort into trying 3.5 or even giving it its fair chance.  Heck, I would have not been playing these games if it was not for someone giving me a D&D boxed adventure set when I was 12.  I at first thought it was just something really stupid and put it under my bed and forgot about it for nearly a year and one day I opened it up and started to read the books that came with it and thought it would be fun to play.  Been playing D&D and other wargames since.While I can't stand what they keep doing to the Warhammer universe I don't sit on my little throne and berrat GW for what they are doing I decided to not play their games.  There are plenty of other options out there for someone to pick up.  There are TONS of other roleplaying games to play.  Noone is forcing anyone to play this game or that under penlty of death.  Its just that simple.  Whining on a forum about what you can't stand in this edition is fine and dandy but it won't solve the problems of the book.  Only the DM and his players can fix what they feel is wrong.  This is not the dang RPGA for crying out loud.</blockquote>
