Guilds are the most common organization in the hold, each dedicated to a particular craft. These crafts are usually dedicated to a particular form of metalworking, but can also include other crafts such as brewing, carpentry, stonemason and even soldiering. Most holds are ruled by a king/queen or lord/lady with a council of guild masters who acts as the hold's nobility.
