Constrictor or venomous?</p><p></p><p>Looking at a Burmese python, which can reach weights of about 200 pounds (appropriate for a M-size creature), it looks like it'll take it approximately 4 years to grow to its adult size, and have a full lifespan of around 20 years. You should be able to have it trained well enough to not try to eat you within maybe a year or two.</p><p></p><p>Venomous snakes in the real world tend to be much smaller, but I would think that a venomous Medium snake would probably have a similar life-cycle...though you might want to keep a cleric around until you get it trained, as some venomous snake species can and will bite shortly after birth."</p></blockquote><p></p>
