Message: <blockquote data-quote="Benben" data-source="post: 334602" data-attributes="member: 110">Okay I've done something similar for my homebrew game.I don't know how much detail you want, but here's the nitty gritty:I detested the psionic combat rules.  Psions are already very weak compared to other casters, and giving monster the ability to drain power from them with almost no risk seemed terribly unfair.So I dropped psionic combat and moved the loss of powers and defense modes into bonus feats.  I used the following WoTC feats too as base abilities of the psion.  Two feat's you'll need to understand for my changes are.Upgrade Power from here:<a href="http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/psi/psi20020426b" target="_blank">http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/psi/psi20020426b</a>Chain Link from here:<a href="http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/psi/psi20020208b" target="_blank">http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/psi/psi20020208b</a>My psionis (Viziers) gain Chain link automatically at 3rd level.  This allows them to upgrade powers in the discipline along recognized power chains.My psychic warriors (Hashashins) gain Upgrade Power at 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th level.  Again this is to allow psionic powers to grow along with the character.In addition Viziers gain a bonus feat that may only be spent on Metapsionic or Psionic Item creation at 1st, 5th, 10t, 15th, and 20th.I also use the alternate powers known and power points gained table from If Thoughts Could Kill.Any questions, complaints, or observations?</blockquote>
