Lily willed the shadow to move and it glided toward the now every so slightly charred corpse, falling on it with a multitude of snapping jaws. Kruk moves to a strategic location and the charges the wight. Unfortunately for Kruk, he trips as he begins his swing, nearly striking his brand new boots! Carolina tightens her grip on the dagger and nimbly scurries along the building faces to flank the wretched wight. With her eyes full of ill intentions, she brings her dagger up and back down again, hoping to catch the thing off guard. Despite the chilling necrosis from the other zombies, Raiyek focuses on the emaciated woman in front of him. He finds a weak spot in her defenses and pounces, his sword glowing with divine energy. The blade strikes true, leaving a gaping wound in the undead. "Victory is close at hand, friends. Hold fast, these foul creatures cannot stand before us!" Georg takes the paladin's advice and throws a weak burst of fire at one of the corpses. It's minor flames lick the creature. The dwarf then drops to ground behind his cover whimpering for a second before recovering from the necrotic chill. The wight looks around and launches itself at the elf who has its attention. It's jagged claws pierce Raiyek's defenses and he feels a portion of his vitality stolen by its touch. Then it steps away towards the doorway. "Get the holy one, hisss blade will burn you!" it calls back to the other corpses. They oblige and this time their attacks are much more accurate as Raiyek's distracted with the wight and his vitality continues to be drained. [sblock=Unlocked Monster Stats] Corpses - Ref is lower than 15 Wight - Ref is 16, AC is lower than 19 [/sblock] [sblock=OOC] *Grim will total defense this combat.
