Message: <blockquote data-quote="BSF" data-source="post: 1317217" data-attributes="member: 13098">Morrus,I'll try to deconstruct the error message a bit.  Why?  Because I like little puzzles like this.  Also, the messages are not very straightforward to read if you don't deal with it often.  Unfortunately, I do play with SMTP headers and errors.  I might as well try to clarify this a little on the off chance that somebody else finds it interesting and maybe even useful.SMTP error from remote mailer after MAIL FROM:<russell.morrissey@virgin.net>:This line is the notification of an error.  Basically, it is just telling you at what stage SMTP decided to reject the message.  In this case, it was rejected almost immediately since the first thing SMTP does is greet the server and then tell the server who is sending the email.host mx2.prodigy.net [207.115.63.75]: This is the server that rejected the message.  In this case, it is one of the mail exchangers for Prodigy.553 5.3.0 DNSBL:To request removal of, 195.92.137.107, please send and E-mail to <a href="mailto:abuse@prodigy.net">abuse@prodigy.net</a>This is the error message.  The numeric code is 553.  This is a DNSBL rejection.  In other words, it is rejecting the message because it found a listing in a DNS Black List.  The IP Address:  195.92.137.107 is the server that was sending your email to Prodigy.  To be removed from the Black List, you can try to contact <a href="mailto:abuse@prodigy.net">abuse@prodigy.net</a> and ask that the IP Address be taken out.  For a little point of reference, this IP Address is listed in at least 6 Blacklists.  You can see a report at <a href="http://www.dnsstuff.com" target="_blank">www.dnsstuff.com</a>, or <a href="http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ip4r.ch?ip=195.92.137.107" target="_blank">click here</a>.  Every row in red is a Black List  database that has this IP Address.The IP Address itself is named tmailt1.svr.pol.co.uk (<a href="http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=195.92.137.107" target="_blank">lookup IP</a>), which appears to be owned by Energis over in Grat Britain.  I am guessing that your email ISP is subcontracting services through them over there since Virgin is listed as one of their customers.  This probably sounds a bit convoluted.  Sorry about that, I am kind of in my computer geek mode I guess.  The question is:  How do you fix this?  Aside from sending an email to <a href="mailto:abuse@prodigy.net">abuse@prodigy.net</a>, I am not sure you can do much.  The black lists are an imperfect method of dealing with rampant SPAM.  Unless somebody tells Prodigy that they are cutting off legitimate email, they won't know.  Alternatively, you can try to find somebody at virgin.net, or pol.co.uk and ask them to get themselves removed from the blacklists, but that might be harder than it seems like it should be.  Now, I kind of skimmed over a few things.  If you want a little more info, or just have some more questions, feel free to email me.</blockquote>
