Holm will pursue the fleeing suspect down the alley, calling out, " Stop thief!"

As he charges after the thief he'll grumble to himself, " Why must they always run."

Eliras gets on his horse and manages to get a glimps of the cart as it rounds a corner followed by Jorad, who is easy to spot in the crowd. They have a lead on you, but you belive you can catch them, given time.

Jorad sees the cart inch further and further. Just when you think they are out of reach, and you out of breath, the cart tips over. When you arrive at the scene (all of you who chased the cart) See the man who fired the crossbow on the ground groaning, the driver is nowhere to bee seen.

Holm chases his theif through alleyways and buildings, not quite catching up, but not losing him either, until you corner him in a dead end. Somewhere along the way some Tower Guard joined you in your chase. Outnumbered, the thief surrenders without a fight and the guards take him away. A guard asks you what this is all about and you have the feeling your answer may depend on whether he decides to take you in as well.

Actions?

Jorad pins the man from the cart, attempting to hold him down until the authorities arrive.

"You're not going anywhere now, ruffian."

OOC: If this guy wants to move, he's going to have to grapple an Ogier. :)

Holm will look at the Tower Guard and explain the theft from the old man and why Holm pursued this man. If pressed about his reasons for being in the area or things are looking like he'll be taken in, Holm will pull out the letter from Maeren Sedai.

Seeing that the ogier seems to have things under control with the thief, Obrin nods in greeting to Jorad and begins searching in and around the cart for the box the man stole from the carriage.

(OOC: Sorry about the long delay between my posts. I had some serious connection issues last week. They are all cleared up now, so I will be able to resume the regular posting schedule.)
