Tomb of Absythor: Helm me with my plot

I've got a storyline going, but am stuck for a plot hook, and need some help.

I'm setting Tomb of Absythor in the Forgotten Realms.

One of the characters (a Human Cleric) grew up in Dagger Falls, but left to study in Ashabenford, he get's an urgent message from one of his childhood friends (a half elf female) who says she is coming to visit him on urgent business.
It turns out that her twin sister has been kidnapped.....and taken to the Tomb of Absythor......I need this element in there because the character in question has no other real impetus to go into the tomb....all of the other characters have real plot hooks to go.

The girl is a half elf. She is a twin. She is the youngest daughter. She is the daughter of a resident human wizard I have set up in Dagger Falls. But I can't think of a reason that she would be targeted.

My question is: Why would people from the tomb want to kidnap her ?

(I'm changing the Tomb setting so that Orcus is working with Bane (and the Zhentarim) to take back Dagger Falls).

Perhaps she was kidnapped so that her father, the Wizard, could be blackmailed into helping sabotage the town in preparation for the takeover. Simple, but logical.

I am currently running Tomb of Abysthor in Monte Cook's Land of the Diamond Throne (for AU). I started with Wizard's Amulet (converted it to AU) a freedownload from Necro. The antagonist there moved on and we did Crucible of Freya (converted that to AU). The same antagonist then moved on to the demon worshipping cult (not Orcus - just general good ole fashioned demon worshippers) that were in the nearby mountains.

Now the players have started Abysthor.

I am developing a line of products for Necromancer based on AU, so this has been tremendously fun.
