Is his misleading "prophecy" (trance, etc) deliberate?

Or is his description of the Oracle (Orulunga) as "east" of Mbala just an error?

I am considering it a typo. By this, I meant to imply that the authors of ToA meant west. I haven't checked if there is errata.

Reminds me of vacationing through France, with their "est" and "ouest"... Can never remember which is which
