Message: <blockquote data-quote="Orius" data-source="post: 2795056" data-attributes="member: 8863">I'd like to see any of the classics revisited myself, since I never had the opportunity to experience the originals.  Ones I would definitely be interested in are Keep on the Borderlands, Against the Giants, the Slavers series, and the ToEE.I checked out the ToH revision.  I have the reproduction of the original that was in RttToH, and so I'm somewhat familiar with it.  It looks like a fairly faithful update of the original; they even included the images!  It does however include connections to the RttToH that weren't present in the original, these include [spoiler]mentioning that Acererack's imprisonment of his demon father Tarnhem is what gives him the demon servants that reset and restore the Tomb and attack anyone who tries to go ethereal or astral, and that Acererak is presented as a construct replica of his demilich form found in his fortress on the Negative Energy Plane rather than a full demilich, since a 3.5e demilich is so powerufl that it would wipe out any 9th level party that it would encounter[/spoiler].  These changes do not bother me, since they provide some added logic to the adventure, and make it more playable for the party of 9th level adventurers the module is intended for.Oh and I don't care what any grognard says.  That new map they included with the revision beats the plain old blue and white map any day of the week.</blockquote>
