Let's see today is Aug 11 so that means 20 days left in this month. September has 30 days so its up to 50 days. October has 31 days so that makes 81 days between now and Nov. 1 but I doubt it will be released on Nov. 1 so let's just take a guess and say Nov. 15... that's at least 96 days till it comes out!

Well, I just got done reading all 10 pages of the thread on Necromancer's boards so I wouldn't feel stupid asking the following questions:

Will The ToH be Black and White only?

With so many monsters to detail will there be ANY illustrations at all?

And if so , what % of monsters will have a "visual aid"?

Have any artists been announced?

What will I do with myself until November?

Black and white only yes...to capture the 1e feel.

100% of monsters will have artwork.

Several different artists are working on the book. I know that Claudio (from here on ENWorld) did some of the work. And I have seen a ton of the proofs from other artists.....the artwork is gonna be awesome!

May I ask, would it has some overlap with the announced for 2003 Fiend Folio by WotC?

I know that it is supposed to have minimal overlap with MM2 and BoVD, but I'm curious about FF

Minimal overlap with the 3e MM2, BoVD, and FF.

Actually, I talked with Anthony Valterra of WotC about that while I was at GenCon. There will still be minimal overlap.
