I looked through the Book of Lairs II, and found <a href="https://www.enworld.org/threads/hobbits-in-a-late-80s-ad-d-product.716227/" target="_blank">a scenario involving medusas</a>. This scenario takes some inspiration from that, although it uses a basilisk instead, and is set in a temple carved into a mountain (which fits with the other places the PCs have visited in the environs of the Forgotten Temple Complex), rather than a tower.[ATTACH=full]422250[/ATTACH]It's fairly simple. But I'm envisaging involving an expedition by Lareth (an enemy of the two Elven PCs), Fori the Beardless (an enemy of the Dwarven PC) and perhaps also Kalamere (the brother, and enemy, of the Elven Ranger PC), to make things more interesting with some social dynamices.</blockquote>
