Toronto, Canada: 3e D&D Game Seeks Players

Prismatic DM

First Post
Greetings,

I'm starting a campaign in a couple of weeks, and I'd like to recruit a few new players. I've got two regulars, but we all know a good D&D campaign needs more sacrificial lam ... er, enthusiastic heroes! :D

I'll be running a mix of old classic 1st edition modules as well as 3e modules (mostly by Necromancer Games). The three of us are 31-32 years old, long-time gamers (excpet my wife, she's a newbie at only 5 years ;)), and we like relaxed, social, and fun sessions -- but not too much "out of game" chatter and silliness.

If you live in Hogtown and are looking to play old-school D&D, drop me a line or respond here in the forum.

Cheers,

Steve

Hi Steve,

I'm an old-time gamer who currently lives in Scarborough. I play off & on now, but would love to join a regular game. The campaign that you've described sounds like something that I would run. :) I have a couple of quick questions for you...

What day(s)/night(s) do you play?
Where in T.O. do you live?

I have a feeling that my schedule won't let me join. I work shift work, so weekends are really the only time I have for gaming. Feel free to drop me an email anyways.

Cheers,
Tim

Latest news... things are in transition. It looks like we are going to take a break from D&D/d20 over the next little while. I'm trying to talk the guys into letting me GM a game of Call of Cthulhu (probably the Chaosium version). Bwahahahaha. :)
I'll let people know what's going on once things are sorted out.

Cheers,
Tim

Call of Cthulhu

Yes, we've taken a break from D&D, and Tim has graciously ... er, sadisti ... er, most fou ... er, well ... Tim's going to be running a Call of Cthulhu game.

This is cool, I've wanted to play for ages. I just hope I don't end up a jibbering, raving lunatic.

Wait, it's CoC, of course I will! :D

Cheers,

Steve
