[Trailer] Conan the Barbarian

I hope the 3D in the movie is better than the awful 3D in the trailer when it played with Thor on Friday.

The 3D in Thor wasn't all that great for that matter. Perhaps we were coddled by movies like Avatar into believing all 3D movies should be full on mind-blowing experiences but I can't help but feel that most 3D in movies equates more readily with aftermarket add-ons done on-the-cheap to previously owned vehicles. I look forward to the day when 3D in movies is at most times subtle but immersive while making the scenes where it can shine most really pop.

 

[Knightfall]

The trailer is good but not mind blowing. I will be going to see this movie, but I don't have high expectations. If it's as good as the original movie but with better special effects, I'll likely enjoy it. If they manage to capture any of Howard's Conan in this movie, I'll likely buy it on DVD.

It's still to early to know for sure.
