I think I would have felt the same way if it wasn't a more monster movie scenario rather than the old alien invasion plot.

I LIKED the alien thing, even...but this just strikes me as having the potential to be a good movie with the plus of having Mulder and Scully.

Well, I for one am looking forward to this. X-Files has got to be one of the greatest tv shows of all time. The first movie left me felt wanting, so I Want To Believe seems only fair.

I spose that's not necessarily a BAD thing, but I dunno if it's worth a movie. Maybe future trailers will show me things that make me want to see it.

"Monster of the week" was my favorite type of X-Files episode anyway. I'm definitely up for this.

Yeah - this movie seems 6 years late to me.

And the last 2-3 seasons of the X Files eroded my affections for the show.

This one is for me to pick up as a used DVD. The theatre? Not for me.

I can still remember the first episode. It was on after some show I liked (don't even remember what that show was). I hadn't heard *anything* about X-Files at all. I just started watching it cold. I loved it. Made me think of a better version of the Nightstalker. I watched it religiously for three years. After that... it started to get dull. I didn't like the first movie at all. I don't plan on seeing this new movie.
