Not really. They were back to being a family - it's just that the "family" was all in on the secret, with mom and dad working together. At least that was the impression I got. He didn't quit the spy game, they didn't split up, they argued it out, he saves her life (and the world incidentally), and the next scene they're at the breakfast table (as I recall.) It's movies that feel like a "reset button" has been hit that I feel uncomfortable with.

I don't think there is much that *could* save that movie...

I can't believe the first one even did well enough to merit a sequal, really...

The first one showed me that there is potential with the franchise if the right script came along.

And this one I expect too will keep me entertained whilst I wait for the real thing...Indy 4.

It was a fad, Tomb Raider has a following (movie age males). This one looks like it is going to be going the way of sex sells and showing off Joline's body (at least in the trailers).

I'm just hoping that they get a better plot this time around. I like seeing a scantily-clad lady bounce around the screen (in every sense of the word) as much as the next guy, but I felt that in the first TR movie, it didn't even come close to making up for that horrible plot. I haven't seen the trailer for the second one yet, but from what I've heard, it doesn't sound like it'll be that much better.
