At the hospital, she was diagnosed with a rare and fatal heart condition, and the doctors didn’t expect her to last through the night. His hair is brown and cut short. He usually dresses down when he can get away with it - jeans, t-shirt, flannel long-sleeves, sweat shirts, tennis shoes, hiking boots, etc.</p><p></p><p>When Joe uses his powers to increase his density, his appearance changes very little. His skin becomes slightly darker as it loses its translucency (can't see veins and such). It's a subtle thing, but can be a little unnerving. Most people will pick up on the difference but won't be able to figure out just what is different about him.</p><p></p><p>In his lower density forms, the vapor-like one in particular, Joe's body has trouble maintaining a "normal" appearance. It tends to wobble, bend, and move in unnatural ways. As his density reaches its lower limits, people can start to see through his body.
