Getting this boost means you can use lower level slots for these spells with improved reliability, leaving those valuable higher level slots for other things. This is good, good, good. The only reason I don't rank it higher, is because in most battles I use neither of these spells. When I do use them though, it has a big impact.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: #40E0D0"><strong>Spell Resistance (14th level):</strong></span> Resistance on spell saves and spell damage. What can I say? You don't need to be going up against wizards to face spells and spell damage. That said, let's not pretend this will come up in every battle, or even every session.
