[QUOTE="Samhaine, post: 4259939, member: 4873"] The standard treasure parcels give a five-member party four magic items (of higher level) and cash for two more (of equal level). The creating higher-level character rules assume that new PCs start higher levels with three magic items of +1, +0, and -1 levels (presumably the main three), and cash equal to a -1 level magic item. But I can't find anything that indicates how the treasure awards are supposed to break down. Of the treasure parcels, are all four supposed to be weapons/implements, armor, and neck slot items? Three? Presumably miscellaneous items are supposed to be much more rare to avoid the Christmas Tree effect, but how rare? Especially since they might be useful for much longer than a +ed item. I'm curious since I'm planning to have the players level up their +ed items as they go, so I need to figure out how many parcels to eliminate from the standard treasure awards (since they'll only be getting misc items as treasure for the most part).
