Troglodyte stench

My unfortunate players are soon up to a bunch of troglodytes. (I'm running RttToEE now) I was just wondering how you people would rule the effect of stench while there are several individuals secreting their 'musk'. Do their effects stack or is a character immune to all troglodyte stench by making a one saving throw? The stacking effects could prove to be quite steep if a character fails his/her saves against say 6 troglodytes. That would make the character suffer 6d6 points of temporary Strength damage due to the nausea...

I was going to rule this situation by a rule that the first failed save would result to normal 1d6 points of temp Str damage and any subsequent failures would cause 1 point more of temp Str damage.

I'd be happy to hear any comments about this.

I make each character roll once per 24 hours per trog. The morale penalties will not stack, but the duration would be 10 rounds from the last failed saving throw. This increases the probability that a character will be affected by a group of trogs, but the "lethality" remains the same.
