Ugh, that image is one that will come up a the most inopportune moment, I can already tell. Blech. And seriously, there's no way she was pushing air through that windpipe, can't imagine how she was speaking unless it's some magical vampire thing.

I really didn't like that ending. It felt forced. I don't understand Bill's motivations for (what he did). I understand the need to mix things up and have surprise endings (what they sometimes call a "button" in screenwriting lingo), but I found that fairly obtuse as those things go. I hope the next episode explains Bill's actions.

I thought the episode provided plenty of insight into Bill's actions. When he was first turned and went back to see his wife, he ended up hurting her, and Lorena tells him that being close to humans causes them harm. That's exactly why he decides to stay in Mississippi and hate-f$%# Lorena. She was the one behind the scenes trying to get Bill and Sookie kidnapped, and Bill realized she wouldn't stop until Sookie was (presumably) dead and Bill was hers. That's what the whole scene before the last WTF scene was about - the King was saying how he gave Bill his word and would honor that over the promise to kidnap Sookie he made Lorena.

There's also some possible validity to the idea that Bill was being compelled by Lorena his creator (she did say some things which could be interpreted as commands), which is why he was saying "No" (and eventually screaming) even while committing the act. He was just as horrified with the whole scene as we were.
