[QUOTE="gyor, post: 6957298, member: 6670153"] I was thinking about the best ways to use True Polymorph to create servants and reading up on all the choices, if your going to make it permenant, the best creature to make from an object is the Helmed Horror. Why, because normally you have no control over whatever you created once its existance becomes permanent. But a Helmed Horror is always absolutely loyal to its creator, which would be you. Its also very tough resistant various stuff, immune to things like charmed, and is immune to 3 spells of your choice (great if you know the spells an enemy is likely to cast against you). But another cool trick is the next day you cast it on the Helmed Horror again. So you turn your Helmed Horror into anything CR 4 or less. This is all the CR 4 creature from the MM and VGTM, Banshee, Black pudding, Bone naga, Chuul, Couatl, Elephant, Ettin, Flameskull, Ghost, Gnoll, fang of Yeenoghu, Helmed horror, Incubus, Lamia, Lizard king/queen, Orc war chief, Red dragon wyrmling, Sea hag (in coven), Shadow demon, Succubus, Wereboar, Weretiger, Babau, Barghest, Hobgoblin Devestator, Girallion, Neogi Master, Yeth Hound, Warlock of the Archfey, Stegosaurus, Orc Blade of Ilbeval, Yuan Ti Mind Whisperer, Yuan Ti Nightmare Speaker. And it retains its alignment and personality, which means what ever you turn it into is still loyal to you and Neutral in Alignment. So you want a Succubus they won't betray you and try and take your soul, Helmed Horror first, then turn it into a Succubus. Want a Couatl that will steal and lie if you need it to, Helmed Horror and then Couatl. My personal Favourites for this are creating a with True Polymorph and then a day later using True Polymorph to turn the Helmed Horror into either a Succubus/Couatl/Shadow Demon/Ghost/Neogi Master/Yeth Hound/Babau/Manticore (okay CR 3, but I like it anyways)/different shaped Helmed Horror/Weretiger.
