Composed solely from the shadowy essence of the Shadow Plane, true shadows are corrupt and shadowy in their dealings with those from planes other than the Plane of Shadow.</p><p><span style="font-size: 12px">COMBAT</span></p><p>True shadows lurk in the shadows, waiting for living prey to happen by.</p><p><strong>Strength Damage (Su):</strong> The touch of a true shadow deals 1d6 points of temporary strength damage to a living foe. A creature reduced to Strength 0 by a true shadow dies.</p><p><strong>Create Spawn (Su):</strong> Any humanoid reduced to Strength 0 by a true shadow becomes a shadow under the control of its killer within 1d4 rounds.</p><p><strong>Undead:</strong> Immune to mind-influencing effects, poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, and disease. Not subject to critical hits, subdual damage, ability damage, energy drain, or death from massive damage.</p><p><strong>Incorporeal:</strong> Can be harmed only by other incorporeal creatures, +1 or better magic weapons, or magic, with a 50 % chance to ignore any damage from a corporeal source. Can pass through solid objects at will, and own attacks pass through armor. Always moves silently.</p><p><strong>Shadow Blend (Su):</strong> In any conditions other than full daylight, a true shadow can disappear into the shadows, giving it nine-tenths concealment. Artificial illumination, even a <em>light</em> or <em>continual flame</em> spell, does not negate this ability. A <em>daylight</em> spell, however, will.</p><p><strong>Evasion (Ex):</strong> If exposed to any effect that normally allows a character to make a Reflex saving throw for half damage (such as a <em>fireball</em>), a true shadow takes no damage on a succesful saving throw.</p></blockquote><p></p>
