Thanks for the imput so far. The magic system in the AGoT RPG is feat based & of course it is ment to be rare. The game could very well run with out it. In my campaign One person has the dream feat which I use as a plot device & to give that player riddles to work on (he likes things like that). Another has the animal companion feat & has a wolf quite similiar to the Stark's in the books. They have met Lady Sheria (the Bloodraven's Mistress & sister) & reputed sorceress. I have given her an aura of mystery & let her talk of things she sees.... her visions. Yet many Npc's & some Pc's know Lady Sheria could have very well gotten the knowledge thru the Bloodraven himself (being the Master of Whispers). I think keeping magic rare & mysterious (possibly explainable through other means) is the only way to go. I guess what I am asking is the True Sorcery system feat based... allowing one to take for example dreams/ phrophecy then allow you to mold the abilty in different ways. Mythic Earth is somewhat like this. I would really like it if someone who owns/ knows of both could compare the two? Thanks Maester Luwin
