Many of you have seen my rants, ravings and ramblings concerning the massive game revamp that I’ve been working on for years; well it’s finally here!
Fantasia is the product of my efforts to simplify the game and to fix many of the problems which many gamers see. However, I am not happy with it yet because it hasn’t withstood the Test of Fire. As any wise person knows, virtue cannot exist without trial, so I need a group of fellow gamers to help me torch my new game and see how it can withstand our trials; I need you.
I will be running an online campaign in the world of Eld, a world which is currently sparse in definition. I haven’t invested much definition into it, partly because I want to ‘start small’ with this campaign but also because I want to allow you to help flesh it out.
If you may be interested, I would ask you to keep in mind that while Fantasia is a role-playing game as much as D&D, a big part of this campaign is testing its mechanics. As such, I am looking for gamers who are willing to optimize their characters for the express purpose of finding and eliminating loopholes and overpowering mechanics in the game. If you might be angry at a GM who changes a character option or mechanic mid-game in order to balance it, please do not bother to join. I am looking for gamers who will point out and discuss problems with the intent to fix them, even if fixing the problems is detrimental to your character.
