I'll admit that I continue to see TSR through rose-colored glasses. The 80s were a hell of a time growing up and I'm glad that D&D was a part of my childhood. To that end, I had gotten some patches from their online store (the rocker ones) cause I was like, "it'll be cool to put on something in my game room".  I'd thought that I was supporting the hobby. At least one can look in the rearview mirror and gain wisdom from a misstep though.The game and hobby itself has grown over the past 40 years. I've seen it suffer in the early 80s from the panic and then got picked on in school because I was a dork. But it's had new life brought to it and, for me, that's fantastic. It means that another generation of kids won't be crapped on for sitting around a table making fantasies up in their heads.Anyone seeking to divide a hobby that's already survived its share of issues can kick rocks.
