Tsunami Gamers Support Thread!

One of my players is stuck in his office over night thanks to this Tsunami/Earthquake thing. I've sent my condolences in our thread, but I want to extend those to everyone.

Is anyone stuck with this thing? In Japan or elsewhere affected by it, that is.

I have relatives in Japan, mostly in Tokyo. I don't know very much so far.

There was a big earthquake in Japan about 1 hour ago. But I am OK and my house is undamaged. My miniatures are undamaged, too!

i got a number of friends over there in tokyo. They all seem to be doing fine.

One of my (other) hobbies is that I DJ for an online radio station. One of our DJs lives in Tokyo and at about noon Mountain time today he disappeared from our chat room and nobody has heard from his since.

He told us he was doing okay, all things considered, but that was 8 1/2 hours ago and we're worried.

Parrinmiller is stuck in his office building. Last mentioned the computer operated trains are still off line and I saw that there was a nuclear reactor in a dangerous situation with both primary and secondary pumps off line.

Japan quake-hit nuke plant 'may be in meltdown'
Parts of the No. 1 reactor's nuclear fuel rods were briefly exposed to the air on Saturday after cooling water levels dropped through evaporation, and a fire engine was pumping water into the reactor, Jiji Press reported. The water levels were recovering, said operator Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO), according to Jiji.

I'm down in Nagoya and no problems here. A bit of of damage down in the port area from the tsunami, but not even much of that. WE could feel the earthquake down here though, but just strong enough to make lights and hangers swing.
