[TTA] Minion Sale of Vengeance

The minions of Tabletop Adventures are both exhilarated and terrified to announce the “While the Cat’s Away” sale. The Overlord, disgusted with the recent sunshine and pleasant weather in his domain, has gone on sabbatical to the cold, gloomy, barren areas of northern Siberia. (It’s a special tour.) When he left, he ordered the minions to celebrate the coming of spring by raising prices on all the company’s electronic products. Not daring to disobey, the minions have followed his instructions. However, in an alarming burst of independence, they are also declaring a Sale of Vengeance!

Consequently, prices have been raised an exorbitant amount, but in a gesture of rebellion the minions are offering 90% off the new prices. Hopefully, if the sale goes well, when the Overlord returns he will relent on the tremendous increase.

As a gesture of solidarity, the minions are offering Honorary Minionships to anyone who makes a purchase during this sale. (If you are already an Honorary Minion, don’t worry – we have something special planned for you!) Just make your purchase on any of our online sales sites:

The minions hope the Overlord’s cruise on the Volga and excursion in the taiga area keep him from noticing the Spring Equinox and that when he returns—if indeed he must—he does so in better spirits than when he left.

I think something is wrong with your Enworld store.

Many of your sales have really strange prices. Against the Darkness for example is listed: DOWNLOAD PRICE: $75.00 and a $7.50 sale price.


While I believe in discounts and truly TTA should be proud of such a discount I wonder if your initial price really was $75 dollars.

It's part of the "story" behind the sale. The "Overlord" has raised prices an astronomical amount, but the "minions" have reduced them by 90%. The net result is around (I believe) a 25% discount on the normal price.

The good Mr. Anderson is indeed correct. The minions labored through the night to make sure that not only were our customers not affected by the Overlord's heinous price increase, we turned his nefarious purpose to a benefit by offering a huge discount instead.

We appreciate your alertness, and thank you for calling the situation to our attention. Hopefully, when the Overlord returns from his sabbatical, the prices can be restored to a more reasonable level. Of course, with the Overlord back, the minions will no longer be able to offer 90% discounts, but we know that all good things must come to an end--especially when our Overlord is involved!
