(Traore is unable to grab a spear; he instead must grab at the spear-shaped patch on his pajamas that his spear used to be.) The crowd of lingering hopefuls disperses as you cross the veil to the inside of the bed, where Sun and Sea are already dozing. Their heads are resting on a torus-shaped pillow in the center of the bed, and they are laying opposite of one another. A small cisten of water occupies the common pillow's central hole, and a censer of green metal shaped like Rhinnishar's head hangs above the bowl on slender chains. The roof of the canopy is obscured by a swirling miasma of flow-jetsam. The bed's pad is firm but comfortable. As Andarin crosses onto the bed, his shell begins to vibrate and pulse. There is a dull hiss from the shell as it becomes semi-liquid and slips from his fingers onto the bed. As the jelly lands, it eats into the pad, forming a deep crease. As the last of the jellied shell dissappers, Bi nervously motions for everyone to back up a bit, and the crease pushes upwards, smoothly excreting the now-familiar form of a sarphidian onto the bed. It appears to be sleeping, wings neatly folded beneath it. Bi looks at Andarin and then to Jurgen with a shrug before laying her head next to Sea on the central pillow. Almost immediately, she is asleep. Clareh follows without hesitation, placing herself next to the sarphidian.
