The trailer had some pretty rough dialogue and acting, so I was surprised by all the good reviews. Intrigued enough to give it a go when we resubscribe to Netflix next (probably for the new season of Squid Game in the spring).

yeah the gratuitous sex scenes and loads of blood was very graphic, but well within reason given the story which was generally good, some interesting world building overall

I like it a lot. Very, very reminiscent of Tartakovsky's Primal. Perhaps too much, in some cases.

I was not going to watch because of Zack Snyder but I looked at the IMDb and it has a number of voice actors I like so I guess I might give it a go.

I get that. ZS use to be a no brainer for me about 15 or so yrs ago. Now, not so much. This surprised me.

 

[Baron Opal II]

I found it an enjoyable, earthy tale. There are some choices I would have made differently, but I liked the story overall.
