I want my journey into the Feywild to include tropes like Fairy Queens and corrupted pixies, redcaps and beastlords and wild hunts, not the circus. Can we judge a book by its cover? Yes, to some extend. Every D&D book cover evokes the overall mood and content of the book. It suggests major themes that might be found. I guess I was hoping for a world of fantastical wilderness, but the cover suggests more “Something Wicked this Way Comes.”  It may end up being a great adventure. It just wasn’t what I was hoping for when I heard “Feywild Adventure.”Maybe I’m wrong and the book will still have plenty of those fey tropes. Maybe that isn’t even the cover.  The title still gives me hope. I’ll still wait and see. If that’s the cover, though, it just feels a bit disappointing.</blockquote>
