(and for use when no existing monster is applicable) They look like creatures of fancy painted and come to life in three dimensions. Brushstrokes are visible upon them, yet all other qualities of their form are like normal creatures. An invented painted creature which is made up of valuable materials like diamond or platinum only appears painted to be so. Its actual substance is of a lesser valuable material.</p><p> </p><p>Invented Painted Creatures act according to their own desires and not the necessarily the will of their creators. After creation, their alignment can shift away from neutral according to the rules for normal alignment change.</p><p> </p><p>An invented painted creature generally appears as an animated painting with the default shape as humanoid. However, near any shape or size is possible to create. </p><p> </p><p>[font=Arial, sans-serif]<span style="font-size: 12px"><strong>Creating a Painted Construct</strong></span>[/font]</p><p>[font=Arial, sans-serif]<span style="font-size: 10px">When painting with Nolzur's Emergent Emulsions, the painter portrays the desired creature from a menu of choices, as specified in the construct's statistics block. A painter can always substitute two choices from a lesser menu for one of its given abilities.
