UA Generic Classes

Felnar

First Post
has anyone used the "generic classes" variant from unearth arcana?
if so, did it work well?
or
does anyone know of a good character point system for 3rd Ed?
(either universal character points or something similar to 2nd Ed PlayersOption)

thanks

Have you seen Cooley's "Buy the Numbers"?
Well worth the purchase price of the PDF, even if you don't ever use it.

He split out core class features and assigned XP costs to them. PC's then buy whatever abilities they want, when they want. Customize to your heart's content.

A good example of a generic class is the Savage from Bloodstone (via rpgnow). It has tons of feats and class abilities that can be selected to customize the character. I suggest that you look at it to find the real power of the generic classes.
