Message: <blockquote data-quote="Robert Ranting" data-source="post: 2372407" data-attributes="member: 28906">In my arcana unearthed game, the party was lead by a tank named Gliblik of the Mountain, a Sibeccai multiclass who exploited the Sturdy feat and racial levels to their utmost extent.The game was 32 point-buy, so he put an 18 and a pair of 14's as his physical stats, and put the higher in Con, add +2 for his race, and another +1 for 4th level, and +1 from racial levels, and you have a 22 Con.Sturdy, under my interpretation of AU, gives you bonus Hitpoints equal to your Con modifier, in addition to your con modifier...As of Sibeccai 1 / Warmain 4 / Bear Totem Warrior 1 / Champion of Life 1  he had Sturdy 5x, and a total of 117 HP, not to mention a "lay on hands" type healing power based on his Con.Armed with weapon focus and spec in a greataxe, full plate, and a bite attack, Gliblik waded through many encounters by sheer virtue of being impossible to kill with creatures of appropriate challenge rating for the party.  This lead to an invincibility complex that resulted in his going off alone to deal with odds meant for the entire party to face as a group.  Once, this lead to his being brought down by a pack of creatures with Intelligence-draining bites, which inflicted him with amnesia, but this did not deter him, of course, since he didn't remember his defeat. Gliblik unfortunately met a bad end when he attempted to board the enemy flagship during a naval seige *alone* and ran into the Giant Admiral, who being huge size, and with equipment granting him a swimspeed and water breathing (for his own protection), grappled Gliblik as he attempted to escape, and held him under water until he drowned.Subsequently, Arcana Evolved was released, and Sturdy was clarified to be a bonus of double your con modifier, in addition to your con Modifier, which would have given Gliblik another 30 Hitpoints... c'est la vieSince then, the same player has worked out a 20th level build, multiclassing between essentially all of the full BAB classes and Ritual Warrior to gain 17 Sturdy Feats in 20 levels...still, even with a good Con, hitpoints can't win every fight.Robert "Wouldn't have helped Anyway" Ranting</blockquote>
