I'll be there! We have the accomodation booked already. Are the entrance tickets on sale yet? Otherwise I will have to stay with the other 3 watching them get drunker as I try to GM them ;)

I believe they are, I hope to GM 4 sessions to get a free pass however.

The ENWorld folks had a barroom brawl session last year. I'm considering offering to run a late night All Flesh Must Be Eaten Zombie fest if enough folks are interested...

At Conception I kinda ignored every other game in favour of Spycraft. The games were so much fun but I found that my con-time was dictated a bit too much for my liking. I prefer spur of the minute actions so I don't think I will book at Gencon.

A game of Zombies always goes down well with me, at least one other of our group loves the game too. Could be up for that sure. Are ENWorlders wearing a badge or something?

At conception although we partied hard I didn't get any gaming in at the chalet, I think our current GM has some more of our campaign ready for us. I will hopefully get some one off stuff written for a variety of games that we/others can play. Thinking of Midnight, Star Munchkin, New World of Darkness (maybe V:TR too) see how it goes. At least this time I will be tee-total so won't be wondering round with a stinking headache all the time ;)

Why so apathetic towards the event Morrus? Are you not bothered with the event? Not impressed by previous UKGC's? Don't fancy the journey? or just not made your mind up?

This will be my first UKGC so I am looking forward to it. However its already costing more than Conception and I don't have a delegate pass yet! I guess Conception was your local con? did you get to that one out of interest?

I'm certainly looking forward to this year more than any other the move to a holiday camp rather than a convention hall with delgates living on-site will get it more back to its campus roots. Things went down hill when they left Loughbrough IMHO and this move can only be an improvement on London. The time of year is better as well, especially if the UK get the Indian summer it seems to be heading towards.

My friends have been to many UKGCs and said the campus ones were much better. However London is only 15 minutes from me so it sucks to have to drive across the country for the event (adding greatly to the cost). Good job I like Minehead :) I go there fairly often since a good friend of mine moved near Taunton so am pretty familiar with the place. If you fancy fish and chips goto the one opposite the bandstand at the end of the parade BTW.

I guess whatever happens we will enjoy ourselves there, may end up just getting a weekend pass to the arena - £20 is well steep considering the accomodation is also extra. We will be there for the duration though in the arena or not :) I just hope the inquisitive one don't get drunk and wonder about something... previously what its like to sleep in a tree and what its like to sleep in an airing cupboard. oh dear... by the way, the findings proved to be uncomfortable, especially falling out of the airing cupboard!
