UKG Publishing are pleased to announce the release of their latest d20 Supplement - Villages: Buckland Treath by Tim Willard and John Milner.
Buckland Treath is the main settlement in the Duchy of Buckland Treath, a small valley located on the West Coast between two mountain ranges.
Ruled by Duke Caolin of Buckland, The Duchy of Buckland Treath has some 800 residents, mainly in the village itself, whilst some few reside in the small hamlets of Fork and Vale End as well as the mining communities of Carn and Vale.
The Duke has a full time garrison of 14 troops in the main village and an additional 24 troops in Fort Carn which guards the eastern pass. In times of conflict the Duke can also levee some 250 men and women from the village and surrounding communities.
Fully detailed, this product provides an instant location from which to base adventures, including 14 detailed and mapped buildings and businesses, 49 fully detailed NPC’s ranging from the Sheriff to the Butcher.
The overall village is presented in a 40 page pdf and Browser based, fully navigable version for interactive use. In addition to the basic maps there are 25mm scale floorplans of both the Inns in both colour and greyscale.
Buckland Treath is presented under the Open Gaming License and is fully v3.5 compatible. We believe that the Villages range will prove invaluable to GM’s requiring a quick location from which to base an adventure or simply provide a place to stay when the player are travelling.
Available from RPGNow, priced at $5.00.
