Hi... well, there are always fussy ppl out there--and the degree of their nitpicking escalates in proportion to their enthusiasm with the topic or issue at hand... ;) My only concern is that the basic info on the guns and equipment are well translated into playable d20 terms! The differences between items should be interesting--and by that not necessarily only in damage but in ther aspects covered by say feats and skills, frex: a RL weapon modification that translates to a +2 circumstance bonus or awards a virtual feat when used by a skilled user... Stuff like that matters to me. Whether the technical "flavour" is 100% accurate or not is less important to me. The difference between two scopes should have playable meaning for me--anything beyond that, though interesting, is not as relevant. It's all a matter of degree/taste I suppose... :) I hope nitpickers will remember the a product like this has to appeal to d20 Modern players from many walks of life--this book is not meant to be a RL training manual! LOL... Nikchick: I am a fan of GR--loved the BotR!--and I believe you folks are doing your best to put out a respectable product... May I suggest a bibliography of source info be included? That might deflect some criticisms if ppl see where the info was coming from... I know from doing scientific research not all sources are as reliable as we like--but we have to work with what we find as best as we can... :) Anyways, I remain quite interested in this "supplement"--even though I am not a gun hobbyist. The game referee within me is always on the lookout for cool playable material for my games! :D -W.
