You're describing a world where no company pays for anything, because in 7 years they can just take it. Writing becomes an awful career choice. It's an awful career choice now, but you just took away that 1-in-a-million chance of making some money from them. The world's writers and artists just became a free labour farm for megacorps.</blockquote>
