Hi!
I'm running a D&D 3.5 campaign. Recently, I've been looking at Libris Mortis suplement and I decided to incorporate "necropolitan template" into my game. It fits perfectly into the scenarios I've planned - I'm just going to change some flavour aspects of that template so that it can fit into my campaign.
I think some of my players might be tempted to become undead with that template. The problem is; my group seems to enjoy morale-type effects. They love boosting themselves with spells like Good Hope and Conviction (from Spell Compedium). SRD clearly says that undead are immune to morale effects so I'm pretty sure that spells like that won't work on a Necropolitan PC anymore. Have I missed anything?
I plan to discuss it with my players anyway - I'm sure we can compromise and find a reasonable solution. I want to hear some arguments from other gaming groups as well though.
