In disbelief, he stares as the mist coalesces, drawing upward into a hideous beastly form. Thin tendrils of smoke drip from its hand as it reaches towards Jesse who stands frozen to the spot. His eyes close and he smiles as the creature lays its hand on his head. With terrible swiftness, the hand rips down through Jesse’s body, tearing skin from bone.
