The Walker knew this and decided to test him: he sent a spirit to possess him and the spirit made Kiborus commit terrible acts of murder. Although he was under the evil spirit's control, in his heart of hearts Kiborus enjoyed the deeds. Thus, he failed the test. To punish him, an ancient vampire named Crimson was sent to visit him.
