This portal caused magma to spew out, stretching out for miles and miles, until it covered the land in a thick layer of obsidian. The villagers manufactured leather goods for House Rees, however their isolated position, without a source of water, left them utterly depende[nt] on Rees['] caravans. In the chaotic aftermath of the trade lords’ seizure of power in Balic the village was forgotten and all of the villagers perished.
