I was planning on having a mad Gnome Wizard causing havoc and spreading madness as the theme for a one-shot on Thursday. I'm delighted to see that Wizards read my mind and provided me with some perfectly appropriate summoning spells, right in the nick of time. :D The spells are dangerous; the demons are barely controlled, and you are provided with ways to protect yourself from them. These make really amazing bad guy spells, and I can see the chaos unfolding as casters lose control over their minions. All in all, regardless of the spell's power level or balance, they have truly amazing flavour. The Tiefling stuff is fun, but I'm a little surprised that they feel the need to keep spitting out new options for that one race. Between the PHB and the SCAG, I thought that they had a goodly range of stuff; clearly Wizards feel the need to beef up their ability to match their Planescape guise.
