Unhallow question

I noticed that one of the effects of an unhallow is that the site or structure is guarded by a magic circle against good effect. Now chasing down the references, we eventually get the following features of this effect:

1. Creatures in the area get a +2 deflection bonus to AC and a +2 resistance bonus on saves vs good creatures.

2. Good summoned creatures may not enter the area. Such creatures cannot make bodily contact (or use natural weapons) on creatures within the area.

3. Possession attempts are blocked and magical forms of mental control are suppressed for the duration.

Number 1 is fine, and although I have a few questions about number 2 (Can good creatures be summoned in the area at all? They won't be able to touch anyone, but can they be summoned?), it is fairly clear.

What throws me is number 3- the blockage of possession and mental control: Ghosts, fiends of possession, vampires- do they all have their abilities nerfed when on unhallowed ground?

Yeah, I'd say that in a circle-v-good then good creatures can't do #3, but evil ones can. That would make more sense.

Can't enter. probably means can't be summoned into either. Just another way of "entering".

Assuming that there is un-unhallowed space within range anyway. If the area they'd be shunted to is out of range, the spell should fail at that point.

Well, since the spellcaster chooses the place where he wants to summon them, I'd let the spell fail if it's in the unhallowed area though I can't really back that up 100% by the rules.
