Today, Universal Studios Hollywood released some new details about the Dungeons & Dragons portion of its upcoming Universal Fan Fest Nights. According to the description posted on their event page, the Dungeons & Dragons festivities will have fans "Embark on a DUNGEONS & DRAGONS adventure with fellow Harpers to save Waterdeep from Xanathar." While that doesn't provide much of a description about what this event actually is, we do know that it will be Forgotten Realms-themed and include the infamous beholder crime lord. From the sound of things, this will be some kind of interactive attraction, probably similar in scope to one of the Hollywood Horror Nights haunted houses....but D&D themed. The Universal Fan Fest Nights is a new theme park concept that launches next year and features several Hollywood franchises taking over a portion of the park. The Star Trek portion of the event, for instance, includes the Enterprise-D bridge set piece from Star Trek: Picard, while the Harry Potter component includes a Niffler encounter. The after-hours event will take place on select dates in April and May.</blockquote>
