Kickstarter Unknown Armies 3rd Edition Kickstarter from Atlas Games!

The Unknown Armies roleplaying game is Kickstarting for a new edition right now, and Atlas Games needs your help to make it the greatest new edition of Unknown Armies it can possibly be.

Visit the UA3 Kickstarter campaign page here!

Unknown Armies is an occult RPG about broken people conspiring to fix the world. It’s about characters who’re obsessed with big change, and the ways they try to bend reality and bring it about. It’s about what you’ll do to get what you want despite the people who’ll fight tooth and nail for the exact opposite.

The occult and unnatural in Unknown Armies are like a secret world that Tim Powers and James Ellroy might conspire to create. Reality is defined and twisted by the obsessions and sacrifices of those who’re willing to gamble the most. Unknown Armies asks, “What would you risk to change the world? Your friends? Your family? Your sanity? Your life?” Magick finds a way to ask the very most from you, until you change the world or are left with nothing.

Unknown Armies was created by Greg Stolze and John Tynes. Originally released in 1998, it became an instant classic. This new edition is more ambitious than any previous edition. It features meaty changes to the Unknown Armies cosmos, substantial revisions to the rules of play, and brings the game up to date for the Internet age. It’s being presented as a three-book set, with all the awesome stretch goals and add-ons you’ve come to expect.

Already the Kickstarter has blown through several stretch goals and is closing on another. Back the project now and gain access to playtest materials, the added benefit of two extra digital books, soundtracks by James Semple, and more. We can't do it without your help!

Cheers,
Cam

Its a tough sell at $99 for the complete game in print. The slipcase/GM Screen sounds cool though.
It would help if there were mock-ups of the dice.

I backed it at $10 so I could look through the early drafts of the books. If I don't like them, I'll cancel my pledge. If I do like them, I may back it for the print books (I don't buy PDFs), but $99 is more than I really want to pay.

I'm still working through the early drafts, but so far I'm not seeing anything that would make me want to use the new version instead of the last edition.
