Unorthodox Pirates preview continues... Sorry, no price available yet. I should have an estimate soon though! In anycase, on with the show... Our preview of Unorthodox Pirates continues! Today I am presenting 3 (out of the 12) pirate magic items found in Unorthodox Pirates. These were written by The Le and Mark Charke. ------------------------------------------------- Candle of Revealing Description: This yellow candle gives off a blue flame when lit,but does not provide any illumination what so ever. However, if this lit candleis in the presence of a map, the map will reveal all hidden markings that itmay have, even magical ones. Activation: Lighting the candle, a standard action, activates theitem. Effect: Maps within 10 feet of the candle are affected by true seeing. The candle burns for 1 hourbut can be snuffed, a free action which ends the effect, without affecting itsmagical properties. Aura/Caster Level: Moderate divination. CL 11th. Construction: Craft Wondrous Item, true seeing, 6600gp, 528xp, 14 days. Weight: 1/2 lb. Price: 13,200gp ------------------------------------------------- Compass of Ships Description: This old silver compass is unremarkable in appearance.Under normal circumstances, this compass appears as if it does not work – itcontinuously rotates and points into different directions. Activation: Placing the compass in seawater, such as a bowl or inthe sea, activates its magical ability. Effect: While under seawater it will point towards any sunkenship within a 50-mile radius. If there are multiple sunken ships within thearea, multiple pointers will appear, each one pointing to a different sunkenship. Aura/Caster Level: Faint divination. CL 3rd. Construction: Craft Wondrous Item, locate object, 3010gp, 100xp, 6 days. Weight: 1 lb. Price: 6,010gp ------------------------------------------------- Jar of Land Description: This strange jar holds 2 pounds of dirt and sand, butits lid cannot be removed.
