The Ravenloft setting has long since moved off from having PC's come from other settings, mostly focusing on its own native heroes. But the mists still collect people from other worlds and deposit them in Ravenloft. And with so many games made with D20 rules, it's easy to bring in characters from wildly different settings with little to no conversion. So I was wondering: Has anyone imported unusual characters from other settings into Ravenloft?
For instance, anyone here have Jedi Knights popping up in Sithicus? Investigators from Call of Cthulhu showing up in Bluetspur? Heroes from D20 Modern showing up in Dementlieu? Super Heroes from Mutants & Masterminds appearing in Markovia?
So am I the only one demented enough to think of this, much less think it's a good idea? And if not, has anyone actually DONE this, before? Myself, after having bought the Mutants & Masterminds book yesterday, I have an idea for creating The Greek Knight (Using the Reincarnate: Never Say Die power) and inserting him into Ravenloft.
